Ekatran is where forgotten fabrics return as poetry.

We embrace imperfection to create garments that are one of a kind.

Ekatran is where forgotten fabrics return as poetry.

We believe imperfection is not a flaw but a form of beauty.

Memory stitched into cloth, time layered into thread.

Each piece we create is a quiet resistance to waste and a celebration of what remains.

The idea of Ekatran is not new.

It is inherited.

OUR STORY

In our homes, nothing was ever wasted.

Worn saris became quilts, old dupattas became curtains, scraps of fabric were saved and reintroduced into daily life.

This instinct to reuse, to reimagine, to create with care has been passed down through generations.

Ekatran carries that wisdom forward.

Ekatran began with a thought.

What if the fabric we forget could come alive?

This became a practice, and the practice became a label.

At Ekatran we gather what the fashion industry leaves behind like fabric scraps, deadstock, discarded cloth and give them another life. Not as a compromise, but as pieces of art, each with its own story.

OUR PROCESS

Each garment has a meandering journey, layered with diversions, open to discovery.

Our process is as old as memory, as familiar as home.

Each garment has a meandering journey, layered with diversions, open to discovery.

What we create at Ekatran carries inheritance an instinct passed down, a quiet reverence for what is left behind.

We do not begin with rigid ideas. We begin with what remains, and allow the materials and the memories they carry to show us the way.

We do not begin with rigid ideas. We begin with what remains, and allow the materials and the memories they carry to show us the way.

Every piece is born on an undefined canvas. Nothing is predetermined, nothing repeated. What emerges is guided by instinct, imperfection, and chance. The result is one of a kind unrepeatable, carrying its own story, its own breath.

OUR VALUE

At Ekatran, our values are not declarations, they are woven into every seam and silence.

They are the undercurrent of our practice quietly enduring every garment that we create.

Honesty

We create with integrity, letting the materials speak for themselves.

Harmony

We balance past and present, art and fashion, memory and renewal.

Simplicity

Stripping away excess to reveal what is essential and true.

Thankfulness

For the fabric, the hands, and the traditions that make Ekatran possible.

Ekatran began with a refusal to accept waste as the end of the story.

I wanted to gather what was left behind and show that imperfection is not the opposite of beauty, it is its deepest form. Each piece we create is not just clothing, but memory. Ekatran began with a quiet refusal to let waste be the end of the story.

As someone always drawn to the fragments left behind. I wanted to give them voice, to turn them into wearable canvases where art and memory meet.

For me, imperfection is not something to be hidden, it is where honesty and beauty live. Every piece we create carries the marks of its past life the textures, the memories, the subtle traces of what it once was ; gently reimagined.

Ekatran is at its heart, a personal act of resistance. Each garment is not just clothing, but memory transformed a proof that beauty can be found, again and again.

SUSTAINABILITY & RESPONSIBILITY

The fashion industry is one of the largest producers of waste churning out more than the world can ever wear, discarding what could have been saved, and leaving behind a trail of excess. In this landscape of fast fashion and careless abundance, Ekatran stands as a reminder that creation can begin with what already exists.

Ekatran is built on a practice of gratitude towards the planet and its resources. By working only with what already exists as deadstock fabric, discarded textiles, forgotten scraps.

The intent is to reshape how we value clothing, bringing back a sense of connection where creativity, conscience, and continuity come together.

Ekatran is quiet but deliberate.
